This piece of furniture started as a classic storage unit and gained life with a simple idea of creating custom built solid steel drawer glides that could also function as drawer pulls.  The blackened steel frame and hardware combined with the simple, well-crafted Baltic birch plywood boxes and top establish its subdued modernism.  Designed and fabricated by Errett Schneider.
